On-demand enumerators are field staff deployed for a specific data collection assignment. They can conduct household surveys, business interviews, intercept surveys, exit interviews, observation studies, screening exercises and verification visits. The work can be done using ODK, KoBoToolbox, SurveyCTO, CommCare, Google Forms or paper tools where necessary.
The service is useful when you already have a questionnaire and need trained people to collect responses. It is also useful when you need a full field setup, including enumerator recruitment, training, pilot testing, supervision and daily quality checks. We can support either model depending on your internal capacity.
Good fieldwork depends on more than sending people out with tablets. Enumerators must understand the tool, consent process, skip logic, respondent selection and what to do when they meet a problem. Supervisors must check submissions early so errors do not spread across the whole sample.
We keep the process practical. The field team is briefed, the tool is tested, field movement is planned and submissions are checked. The final deliverable can be raw data, cleaned data, a fieldwork report or a data collection completion summary.
